History
The Kinder Bueno cocktail is a modern, social‑media‑driven creation, not a classic recipe. It emerged in the UK and Europe during the 2010s–2020s as part of the “dessert cocktail” trend, inspired by the popularity of the Kinder Bueno chocolate bar (launched by Ferrero in 1990). Bartenders and home mixologists began experimenting with dessert‑style cocktails that mimic popular sweets. The Kinder Bueno cocktail was born from this movement, blending vanilla vodka, Baileys, Kahlua, Frangelico, milk, and melted Kinder Bueno to replicate the bar’s flavour. It gained traction in the 2010s and 2020s, especially through TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube, where visually indulgent cocktails with whipped cream, chocolate drizzle, and branded garnishes became viral.
